Yagodinska Cave
Yagodinska Cave (Yagodina Cave) is located 3 km south-east of the village of Yagodina. It consists of a three-level labyrinth of total length of 10 km and is one of the deepest caves in Bulgaria. Walking along the perfectly well-lit tourist path (1100 m) reveals amazing rock formations of stalactites and stalagmites, as well as other shapes resembling stone curtains and cave pearls. Archeological objects dating from the 4th and 5th centuries BC have also been discovered there.The temperature in the cave is stationary at +6 C, while the humidity is 92%.
The Yagodinska Cave is 11 km long, though only 3 of them are open to the public. The cave is very beautiful and interesting - filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Visitors can enter the cave through an artificially created entrance, while the natural one is 30 m above. A special path through the cave offers the opportunity to see how the beautiful underground world has been formed for millions of years.

The Yagodina Cave is the longest cave in the Rhodope mountains and is located in the Canyon resembling a valley of the river Buinovska, 2 km. to the west of the village of Yagodina and 8 km. away from the village of Trigrad.
There are about 20 caves in the Rhodopean Mountain region. Yagodina cave is located at 3-km southeast of Yagodina village and is one of the deepest caves in Bulgaria (6450 m). Ancient fragments from the 4th millennium BC along with fragments of pottery vessels from the Bronze Age have been found there. Inside the numerous halls you can see stalactites, stalagmites, sinter lakes, helixes, which are typical for this wonderful cave.
