The pathway to peak Vihren /2914 m/ is abrupt, winding about rocks, mountain pinnacles and pine-scrub. The peak affords unbelievable view to surrounding mountains.
Vihren attracts tourists and visitors mostly for the reason that it is the highest peak in the Pirin mountain - 2914 m., and third in height on the Balkan Peninsula. According to mythology the God Peru has lived here.
